With
the objective of providing adequate information related to copper and
clearing the various doubts and misgivings regarding copper, the Japan
Copper Center (Corp.) was established in 1964. With the help of Japan
Mining Association, Japan Copper Expansion Society and Japan Electrical
Wiring Industries (Corp.) as full members, and with the cooperation
of a large number of supporting members, we intend to develop/promote
the demand for copper. Since copper can be used in various forms and
its application methods are many, we are conducting investigations/research/technical
development plans for each theme. We have also established a public
information system for providing an information service encompassing
copper in its various forms and its applications.

pipe manufacturing and technical training course has been developed
with the cooperation of Water Supply Industry and Pipe Construction
Cooperative Association. |

popularise the usage of copper, television and radio publicity and
news releases have been issued. |

ICA
(International copper association) has now started an international
cultural exchange program with other developed countries in order
to exchange information regarding copper. |
