Why are copper pipes used for water/hot water supply in American and European countries?
Preservation of natural and life environment is the chief concern of this century. In America and Europe, the most environmentally advanced countries, copper pipes are mainly used for water/hot water supply. Since olden times copper pipes have been preferred over other metal pipes because of its composition, durability and flexibility and also as it is safe and hygienic in terms of the environment. We aim at making the Japanese aware of this in order to secure a safe water supply service beneficial to both man and environment.

People hesitate to use copper as it seems to be expensive
One of the merits of copper is that it is economical. The misconception of copper being expensive is disproved by the following graph. On comparing the rates of other pipes, copper proves to cost lesser. From these, copper is the most valuable metal and it can be easily recycled too. Thus this metal adds value to the resources and it helps to cut down cost too.

Copper pipes! The fascinating qualities of copper are really baffling!
Because of its flexibility, copper is regularly used for making pipes worldwide. It is easy to process and light too. Further, its durability is also remarkable. As it doesn't resist water flow, pipes with small diameter can be safely used. It is gaining popularity in Europe too where the system of direct water supply is prevalent. In Japan, which is an earthquake prone zone, the concealed water pipes in the houses get easily damaged thereby causing leakage. The Osaka-Kobe area, which is prone to intense earthquakes, gives ample evidence of the durability of copper pipes. They are suitable for cold areas too, where freezing is a major setback. Thus because of its inherent nature, copper proves to be an apt material for water/hot water supplying pipes.

Copper pipes certainly facilitate construction
1. The tools and processing needed for copper are simple and thus can be constructed in a shorter time.
2. It is convenient to carry the light copper pipes. The coiled copper pipes can be transported in light vans easily.
3. On site cutting and construction is possible. And above all, this can be executed by one person?
4. Threading not needed. Can be safely executed indoors as the construction is not noisy.
5. With improvement in joining techniques, construction has been simplified.
6. Prefabrication has made it more effective and economical!
