Renovation works can be carried out

pipes are used.
In April 2003, there was a revision in the laws to control the amount
of lead leakage present in the water supply and as a result, the
permitted limit of lead was lowered from 0.05mg/l to 0.01mg/l.
In order to meet this standard, reconstruction work has been carried
out on lead pipes and the material deemed most suitable was the
pliable covered copper pipes. Renovation works can be carried out
easily even in cramped places where the lead pipes are in place,
as long as the flexible covered copper pipes are used. |
