Environmental Hormones

There is no fear of environmental hormones in copper pipes.

The Health and Labour Ministry has announced that polyester pipes which are highly suspected of containing environmental hormones(bis?phenol A etc) are being investigated for leakage. In the Asahi Newspaper, there was also the shocking headline which read "environmental hormones from water pipes". The issue of environmental hormones is getting closer and closer to the consciousness of the people. Copper pipes, on the other hand, are unrelated to the issue of environmental hormones and so can be used to transport hot and cold water safely.
